Metaverse/what is Metaverse?

Have you seen movies in which there exist another dimension, another world, you can switch your lives in both the dimensions. May be you are a scientist in one dimension and a dumb boy in another, science has proved it to be true but not completely.

                       We love dreaming and seeing dreams either we are sleeping or not and we also wish that our dream would come true, we love imagination, we love fantasy. 

                     So, firstly we started painting to put our imagination in a paper or wall in real life and then comes sculptors they used their imagination to put them in stones and make statues then comes photographs, then movies after some time the movie became coloured but we are not satisfied with them we wanted to feel more real in our imagination,

                        so we make animated movies then another step we took to Motion games to live in imagination, to enjoy our fantasy and now all this is more developed and here enters Metaverse. 

                                Metaverse is an imaginary world which is developed by people, where you can enjoy, you can earn, you can live your dream.

                                  If you ever use virtual reality (VR) then you would find that your two senses, that is, ears and eyes are used in VR but you can't feel the thing in the VR, you can't smell whatever you saw in the VR, you don't even taste what's in the VR. But Metaverse is a concept in which you can touch and feel the things which doesn't exist in real life, you can smell , you can taste the things inside Metaverse. 

                                            Basically Metaverse is an another world which is made by humans. Lands are already made and also sold in the Metaverse,people are thinking that just like real estate prices are rising in the real world, their prices will also increase in the Metaverse. 

                               Metaverse is a world which is highly based on very advance technologies,basically Metaverse is a systematic mixture of AR, VR, block chain and many new technologies which are yet to be developed.Now, you ask me what was the stuff we discussed above. So, let's have a short look at that. 

                       

What is VR?  

 So, VR(Virtual Reality) is a thing which separates us from the real world. If you wear a VR then it takes you to another world which is completely different from your surroundings.It's name suggests us that it is a real world,it is reality but virtually. 

                                             For example:- if you want to go for a vacation to a museum and you don't have any time, then if you see a video tour of that museum after wearing a VR headset then you will be in your home only but then also you can see the whole museum. 

                If you are watching a helicopter ride in VR then you don't feel like you are sitting in a car.

What is AR?  

AR (Augmented Reality) is different from Virtual Reality. In VR we go to a different place by staying where we are but in AR our surroundings remain same and AR creates new things in our natural surroundings. 

                          AR is a technology which forms virtual objects in the field of our vision. Like, if you are standing at the corner of a street and you put your smartphone towards the street then AR will show you more information regarding the street like the name of shops, cafes, gymnasiums,way to different places, etc.  

                                         Another example of this is, if you saw Iron Man,in any of his movies. You will see that a light blue kind of screen is appeared inside his mask, it is the Augmented Reality. 

                                   The filters you use on snapchat, instagram, the i-phone facetime memoji are some examples of AR we use in our everyday life. In the filters the AR detects your face and then it puts other faces, sunglasses and other things on your face.   

        Another example,if you ever played Pokemon go then you would know that it is only made on the concept of Augmented Reality, you will have to travel in the real world to find Pokemons in the virtual world. 

Now,

what is block chain? 

Block chain is a system of recording information in such a way which makes it impossible to change, hack or to cheat the system. 

                                                  Block chain collects information in groups and these groups are also know as blocks. 

                          Every block has limited storage capacity and when one block was filled up with enough information it gets attached with the previous block and that's how a chain of blocks was formed and it is named block chain.

                                         

How block chain works?   

Block chain is a chain of block which has information stored in them. Every block has a cryptographic hash of its previous block and it generates after every transaction. 

                       (a cryptographic hash is a unique hash which is a string of numbers and letters, its generation also depends upon the hash of its previous block) It is just like the pin of your bank account or like Aadhar card in India, but with more numbers and letters. 

                                                      Even if a little molestation is done with one hash then the settings of all the next hashes will automatically Change and a new hash will generate,which makes it impossible to hack. 

             That's why Block chain is the most secured thing.

          Block chain spreads on various different computers and every computer has a copy of block chain,these computers are known as nodes. These nodes check the hashes and make sure that molestation is happened or not in the transaction. 

                                                                When most of the nodes approve the transaction then it gets noted in blocks.

                                                 If someone tries to hack block chain,then he have to be approved by majority of the nodes. 

                                                 These nodes forms the infrastructure of block chain, they store,spread and preserve the block chain data. 

         A full node computer like device is there which has full copy of transaction history of block chain. This block chain updates itself after every 10 minutes.

              Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are based on block chain. It is also used in future in hospitals to record the patients information, which satisfies the patient of his privacy and many more sectors are there in which block chain will be very very useful.  

            Because it is the safest form of transactions,it is used in Metaverse.  

                                                      So, back to Metaverse.Metaverse is a social network which is way ahead from text messages, video calls or audio calls. 

                                        Metaverse can prove your imagination true, if you want to travel the whole globe without leaving your room then you can do it in the Metaverse.   If you thought that you want to be invincible then you will be in the Metaverse.   If you want to go to moon or Mars or anywhere then you can in Metaverse. 

                                Metaverse wants to take social network on next level, where you have an Avatar just like other people's and then you go at the chat room where everyone is talking through their Avatar, and instead of texting someone "hii","hello" you can shake hand with other person, you can hug them, you can pat them and interesting thing is that you will feel all the things you do in Metaverse. 

                                Metaverse also has low crime rate, you can touch people and they also feel you but you cannot kill anyone or fight with anyone,if someone fires a bullet on you in Metaverse then you will not die because the sensors used in Metaverse concept do not allow this. 

                                              Even you have to touch people to know that they are real or it was their holographic image.

                                                     Do you know how government was made?  How countries were made?  According to a social contract theory,countries were made to protect our society from dangers either outside or inside and for that we chose a leader which will lead us towards mankind, which is now known as Government. 

                                          But as time passed, government started to interfere in our personal lives, governments was started taking decisions like when we have to drive, when we have to marry, when we have to start working, we have to give them taxes in everything we use, 

                                  As there is no physical violence in Metaverse,no fear of anything and no reason to Choose other person to protect us,everyone is free there, everyone can enjoy there freedom completely. 

     

                    

     Like everything has its own advantages and disadvantages, Metaverse is also good and bad at the same time. 

                                          It doesn't matters how advance will be the technology in future, the real connection between people is always be different, you can think that do you like a video call with your best friend instead of seeing him/her in real life? 

                                 The real physical touch will always be missing in Metaverse, the real jokes that you used to crack with your friends in the lunch time was not replaced by Metaverse or any technology.
